Built to Move People, Not Just Inform Them

Benjamin Watkins has been telling stories his entire life — beginning on a dairy farm in Central Minnesota, where he learned grit, service, and responsibility before he ever learned marketing. Those values carried him into the U.S. Army, where he served as a Psychological Operations Sergeant deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom — leading influence and communication efforts where clarity of message wasn't a best practice, it was a matter of life and consequence.

That experience shaped everything that came next. Over more than 22 years, Benjamin has produced 1,500+ video and digital campaigns for nonprofits, public sector organizations, and mission-driven brands — including Emmy Award-winning work for PBS, campaigns for the March of Dimes and African Women's Alliance, and immersive storytelling for organizations that serve veterans, caregivers, and communities in need.

Emmy Award, 2015 — "The Typist" — Emmy-winning historical documentary following Larry Tillemans, believed to be the last living clerk-typist from the Nuremberg Trials. Watch the film →

He holds an MFA in Motion Picture & Television (Magna Cum Laude, 3.986 GPA) and a BA in Theatre & Dance — and has taught storytelling, video production, and immersive media at the university level for over 12 years.
